He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Kalafut and Marjorie Cummings Kalafut; and his daughter Denise Kalafut. He is survived by: his close friends, Mark and Kendra; his wife Elizabeth Kalafut; his son George; his daughter-in-law Kathleen Kalafut of Hyner; his sisters, Esther "Dolly" Prebble (Merrill) of Renovo and Betty Lunger (Alan) of North Bend; and his grandchildren, Alicia McGowan, Jimmy McGowan, Josh Culver, Kylea Culver, Kelsey Brungard, Ethan Kalafut and Quentin Kalafut. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
