He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin N. Brookens and Lucille C. Brookens (Lucas); and his siblings, Shirley Olmstead, Dianne Bilbay (Sandra K), Ropiza, Raymond, Gary and Ronald Brookens.
He is survived by: his brother Anson Brookens of Lock Haven. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
