With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John A. Highfield of Reno, Pennsylvania, born in Oil City, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024 at the age of 89. In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Highfield and Gertrude Highfield; his sister Mary Lou Foust; his brother-in-law Ronald Foust of Orange City, FL; his sister Donna Kay; and his wife Norma.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Virginia) of Mercer and Garry (Sharon) of Franklin.
