He is survived by: his significant other Bernice Goeppner; his children, Deborah Starr (Joseph), Robin Dettling (Bruce), David Patton (Maureen) and Barbara Patton; his sister Lois Patton; and his close friend Larry Taylor. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
