She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Day and Dorothy Day (Turner); her foster parents, George Kidd and Flora Kidd; and her siblings, Betty Mager, Carrie Oertel, Linda Brice and John Day.
She is survived by: her son James D. Ziegler of Rural Valley, PA; her daughter-in-law Jackie Ziegler of Rural Valley, PA; and her sisters, Dorothy Peffer and Elmira Zirnsak. She is also survived by three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
