He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur M. Stoops and Margaret McCandless Stoops; his stepmother Hazel Della Stoops; his son Glenn Stoops; and his brother Robert Stoops.
He is survived by: his wife Reba Jean McCandless Stoops; his children, Randy Stoops (Donna) of Renfrew, PA and Vicki Cessna (Jeff) of Santa Ana, CA; his grandchildren, Michael Stoops (Jaime), Trista Stoops, Drew Cessna and Shannon Cessna; his great grandchildren, Taylor Stoops and Brielle Stoops; his stepgreat-grandsons, Mason, Hunter and Carter; and his sister Marilyn R. Stoops of Butler, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
