He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Schuster and Adeline Pantoni Schuster; and his wife Carol Schuster. He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Schuster (Matthew Pistoia) of Butler, Joy Green (Michael) of Saxonburg and Bess Mentel of Renfrew; his grandchildren, Hannah, Noah Green and Ellie Mentel; and his siblings, Melvin "Dutch" Schuster (Terri), Thomas Schuster and Mary Frances Pilarski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
