He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl J. and Mary L. Sequete (Chiprean); his son Richard "Scott" Sequete; and his brothers, Carmen Sequete (Sonny) and Larry Sequete.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Moore Sequete; his daughters, Pam Baldauf (Terry) and Carla Sequete (Tim Stephenson); his grandchildren, Brook Phillips (Chris), Brent Baldauf (Nicole), Ryan Baldauf (Stephanie) and Cameron Stephenson; and his great grandchildren, Kobe, Leo, Natalie, Layla, Lucas, Liam, Cayleigh and Carter.
