He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen H. Sweigart and Susan E. Sweigart (Leid); his wife Kathryn S. Sweigart (Steinmetz); and his siblings, Ada Musser, William Sweigart, Helen Musser, Ruth Miller, Norman Sweigart, Mamie Meckley, Susan Lausch, Grace Ziemer, Alvin Sweigart and Robert Sweigart.
He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie (Michael Thompson) of Reinholds; his granddaughter Jessica (Jamie Sass) of Aulander, NC; his great grandchildren, Mikayla and Amelia; and his brother Aaron Sweigart.
