He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell M. Brown and Sue E. Brown (Marburger); his wife Betty N. Brown (Miller); his son Craig Allan Brown; his sister Nancy Light; and his children, Scott Brown (Lori), Kim Showers (Drew Showers) and Kelly Brehm (Michael Brehm). He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
