With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gladys B. Shaak (Rehrersburg, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke F. Fitterling and Minerva M. Fitterling (Miller); her husband Miller P. Shaak; her siblings, Marian F. Emes, Stanley E. Fitterling, Melvin F. Fitterling, Kenneth G. Fitterling and Lynwood L. Fitterling; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Emes, George Conrad, Leroy Shaak and Paul Shaak.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela S. Parenti (Domenic M. Parenti); her granddaughters, Jill V. Wentzel (Brandon Wentzel) and Carli D. Parenti; her great grandchild Kairi L. Wentzel; her sister Joyce F. Conrad; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Fitterling, Mary Shaak (Blanchard), Edna K. Shaak, Grace Shaak and Edna Shaak (Netzley); her close friend Stephen Kilousky; and her friend Jean Hellenthal. She is also survived by several nieces; 2 nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
