It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Smith (Reedsville, Pennsylvania), born in McVeytown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 2, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Spickler and Ruth Spickler (Gearhart); her husband Doyle "Mutt" Smith; her daughter Penny Smith; her sister Doris Moist; and her half-brothers, William, Frank and Harrison Spickler, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Doyle Smith (Holly) of Tampa, FL, Doug Smith (Terri) of Lewistown and Jeannie Goss (Frank Goss, Jr.) of Lewistown; her grandchildren, Jason Stitt (Ashlee), Brittany Riden (Brock), Nathan Smith, Derek Smith (Cindi), Creig Smith, Brodie Smith (Alexa), Kourtney Hesketh (Zac) and Zach Williams (Kareena); her stepgrandchildren, Morgan Weaver (Codi) and Mackenzie Frymyer; and her brother Richard Spickler of McClure. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
