He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ruth (McCartney) and John Joseph McCavitt; and his daughter Anna Marie McCavitt. He is survived by: his wife Cindy A. McCavitt (Michael); his children, Kelsey Lynn McCavitt (Chris McGee) of Lemoyne, PA and Johnathan Martin McCavitt of Mechanicsburg; his grandson Sean C. McCavitt of Lemoyne; and his siblings, Sharon Armstrong (Ronald) of Reedsville, Cynthia Eschenmann (Richard) of Palmyra and Patric K. McCavitt (Deborah) of Bel-Air, MD. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
