He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Eckley and Isabelle A. Eckley (Havice); his siblings, Catherine Patricia Hampton (Raymond), Christine Diane Aumiller and Clarence Wiliam Eckley; and his daughter-in-law Shari Eckley.
He is survived by: his wife Carole E. Eckley (Barger); his son Daniel L. Eckley of Belleville; his stepgrandson Robert C. Bratton of Belleville; his sister Judy M. Polselli (Kenneth) of Johnston; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Eckley of Lewistown and Ronald Aumiller of Lewistown.
