She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl C. Payton and Agnes Payton (Vail); her former husbands, George W. Elder III and John E. McCurry; and her brother Robert V. Payton.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Jenkinson (Harold) of Reedsville, Cynthia Totura (George) of Illinois and Doris Diane "D. D." Thompson (Rodney) of Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Cormier (Tim), Christian Jenkinson, John Totura, Allison Totura (Damon Shattuck), Alexander Totura (Jessica) and Scott Thompson (Brittany). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doris' memory may be made to the East Kishacoquillas Presbyterian Church, 100 Walnut St., Reedsville, PA 17084 or to Valley View Haven, 4702 E. Main St., Belleville, PA 17004.
