He is survived by: his spouse Leslie "Sue" Kohler (Brandt); his children, Carl Kohler (Annie Kephart), Carla Moyer (Steve North) and Todd Kohler (Deb); his stepchildren, Deborah Sweeney and Shane Moore; his grandchildren, Crystal Kohler, Rebecca Kohler, Ashley Campbell, Todd Kohler, Jr., Lee Kohler, Kyle Kohler, Ryan Sweeney, Jody Moore and Madison Sweeney; and his siblings, Bertha Snyder and Arthur Kohler (Carol "Sue" Kohler). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
