With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Jean Schmidt of Reeders, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Yonker and Ethel Yonker (Lant); and her husband John A. Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Puskas (John), Dan (Brooke) and John (Michele); her grandchildren, Ashley Benton (Adam), Nicholas, Lindsay Schmidt and Theo Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Zachary and Joshua Benton; and her siblings, Marjorie Freeman, Barbara Hendricks and Ken Yonker (Veronica). She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
