It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma I. Waltemyer of Red Lion, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Spurgeon B. Waltemyer; her parents, Charles James and Grace Bell Graham (Boyd); her siblings, Charles Graham, Ruth Criswell and Mary Krout; and her son-in-law Terry Grothe.
She is survived by: her children, William S. Waltemyer (Liezyl) of Windsor and Glenda G. Grothe of Brogue; her grandchildren, Becky S. Gillespie (Joe), Ronald A. Grothe (Sabrina) of Windsor, Brian W. Waltemyer of Fawn Grove, Spurgeon D. Waltemyer of Windsor, Matthew L. Waltemyer of Windsor and Daniel J. Waltemyer of Windsor; her great grandchildren, Colbi Daugherty (Nikki) of Red Lion, Bo Grothe of York, Angel Grothe of York, Cheyenne Waltemyer of Glen Rock, Scout Waltemyer of Loganville, Bayou Waltemyer of Loganville and Dustin Waltemyer of Spring Grove; her great great grandchild Isabella Daugherty of Red Lion; and her siblings, Glen Graham (Judy) of Windsor and Pauline Snyder of Windsor.
