She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Emig and Helen E. Emig (Fridinger); and her son John L. Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Steven F. Smith (Katrina) of Windsor and Kermit J. Smith of Felton; her grandchildren, Jason Smith, Derrick Smith, Savannah Smith and Brody Smith; and her sisters, Nancy Connolly of Hanover and Rita Emig of Gettysburg. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
