It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth M. Windon of Red Lion, Pennsylvania, born in Stewartstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Markel and Elizabeth Marie Markel (Gibbs); and her siblings, Wanda, Wilma, William and Kenneth Markel.
She is survived by: her daughter Jan Thompson; her grandchildren, Benjamen (Cheryl), Robert and Christina Thompson; and her sister Sharon Shultz (Brian). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
