He is survived by: his parent Irene Steiger (Cronauer); his wife Mary Catherine "Kate" Steiger (Culley); his granddaughter Ada of Freeland, MD.; and his sisters, Ruth Sandacz of Northville, MI, June Nadolsky and Jean Girard.
