He was predeceased by: his wife Mary R. Taylor (Cox); his parents, Benjamin Roy and Susie M. Taylor (Malles); and his daughter Teresa M. Markline. He is survived by: his sons, Melvin E. Taylor, Jr. (Lisa Mason) of Chase City, VA and Loren C. Taylor; his grandson Timothy T. Taylor (Desiree) of Glen Rock; and his daughters, Mary L. Hiler (JoAnn Boccanfuso) of Wellsville, Kathryn A. Wilhide of York and Kathleen A. Herman (Joe) of York. He is also survived by his four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
