With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ferne R. Waltemyer (Red Lion, Pennsylvania), born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 17, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse P. Thomas Waltemyer; her parents, Roy Brown and Lois Brown (Crawford); and her siblings, Alma Filmore, Edna Hersey, Evelyn Bender, Doris Bacon, Pete, Sam and Jack Brown.

She is survived by: her sons, Tyrone K. (Joan Waltemyer) of Wellsboro, PA, Gerald T. (Virginia Waltemyer) of Santa Rosa, CA and Brett E. (Cathy Waltemyer) of Brogue; and her sister Grace Frey of Yoe. She is also survived by four granddaughters; two great grandsons and a great granddaughter.
