He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Varano (Sock); his children, Angela (Brian Riley) of Harleysville and Sam Varano, Jr. (Marcey) of Chalfont; his grandchildren, Vincent Riley, Samantha and Nix Varano; his niece Meghan; his nephew Frank Sock; and his brothers-in-law, Phil (Kathy) and Bob Sock.
