He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Jane Shermer (Newton); and his parents, Harold Shermer and Agnes Shermer (Derbyshire). He is survived by: his children, Bradley W. Shermer of Delaware, Bonnie S. (Lonnie L. Crawford) of Bloomsburg and Brenda E. (Michael W. Swan) of Canada; and his sisters, Barbara Ann (Peter S. Gill) of East Coventry and Carol S. (Charles J. Koch) of Stone Harbor, NJ.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
