She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Smith and Frances Smith; and her brother Anthony Smith, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Kunkel (Jennifer), Scott Kunkel (Sheena), Nicole Gieringer (Bob) and Neil Kunkel (Erin); her grandchildren, Nicholas Kunkel, Maddie Kunkel, Wesley Kunkel, Oliver Kunkel, Grace Kunkel, Ethan Kunkel and Addi Bargerhuff; and her siblings, Rosann Gray and Robert Smith.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in Diane's honor be made to the American Heart Association.
