He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Rishel and Margaret Rishel (Bowersox); his stepgrandson Scott Richardson; and his great grandchild Noah Rishel. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Hollenbach; his children, Gail Richardson (Mike), Debra Stover (Jeff), Kathy McKinney (Mark), Margaret Leedy (Earl), Susan Auman and Ronald E. Rishel, Jr. (Carrie); and his brothers, Kenneth Rishel (Rhelda) and Jack Rishel (Carol). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, one step grandson, twenty-six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
