He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Hettinger and Dora "Biddle" Hettinger; his daughter Debra Hiles; and his siblings, Thelma Pyle, Janet Pennepacker, Marie McCool, Patricia Wance and Kenneth Hettinger.
He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Kerstetter; his sons, Stephen Hettinger of Rebersburg and Randy Hettinger (Deborah) of Milton; his grandchildren, Diana Buss (Jason), Krysta Moyer (Tylor), Jordan and Ashton Hiles; his great grandchildren, Keighan, Finnley and Cooper; and his siblings, Donald Hettinger (Linda) of Rebersburg, Joyce Hettinger of Rebersburg and Jean Tice of Julian.
