He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edwin and Ellen Catherine "Reed" Pecht; his wife Nancy A. Bigelow; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Pecht, Robert Pecht, Frederick L. Pecht, William Merle Pecht, Charles E. Pecht and Grant T. Pecht.
He is survived by: his son James A. Pecht (Lucille) of Allen, TX; his brother Charles H. Foust of Spring Mills; and his grandson Branden Pecht.
