He is survived by: his parent Mary Reider (Bickhart); his son John L. Reider, III; his granddaughter Muriah; his siblings, Harvey Reider, Richard Reider, Grace Shepler, Elva Horning, Bessie Pugh and Evelyn Stover; and his friends, Rick Sweigart, Penny Lintner, Colleen Conant and Donald Dean. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
