He is survived by: his parent John Russell Sassaman, Jr.; his wife Christine; his sister Dawn (Troy Quinter); his niece Gina; his nephew John Marchiano; and his close friend Jessica Pachilis. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
