He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Dowling. He is survived by: his spouse JoAnn Dowling (Oxenford); his parent Ruth Dowling (Hornberger); his children, Elliot A. of Australia and Leslie J. of South Carolina; and his siblings, Robert J. (Karen) and Marcia J. (Richard Sebastian).
