It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert McLaughlin (Reading, Pennsylvania), born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. McLaughlin and Margaret McLaughlin (O'Toole); and his brother Richard McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jo McLaughlin (Pleam) of Spring Township; his sons, Michael (Janet) of West Lawn and Matthew (Amanda) of Camp Hill; his grandsons, Killian and Sammy; his sister Kathleen Evans of Lewisburg; his stepmother Dorothy McLaughlin of Hamburg; and his sister-in-law Paula Stauffer of West Lawn.
