He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Erkes and Minnie Erkes (Batt). He is survived by: his wife Carol Erkes (Wagner); his children, Brian S. Erkes, Janice S. Erkes and Michael S. Erkes (Melissa Erkes); and his grandchildren, Dr. Franklin D. Erkes, Caroline Erkes, Chelsea Erkes (Corey Erkes) and Berry Hafetz (Jack Hafetz).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. (229 N 5th St, Reading, PA 19601).
