He is survived by: his children, Denise R. Lengel (Kevin Taylor) of Sinking Spring and Richard B. Sfingas (Eileen Sfingas) of Temple; and his grandchildren, Kristen Kriebel, Melissa Kaucher, Richard Sfingas, Rachel Haines, Michael Lutz, Tyler Henry and Shannon Aquila. He is also survived by his 14 great-grandchildren.
