He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hertzog, and Leona D. Hertzog, Jr. (Knaut); his children, Kristen Ann Hertzog and Andrew Justin Hertzog; and his great-nephew Kyle.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Kay Hertzog (Breisch); his brother-in-law Ronald Allyn (D. Dawn); his nephew Ryan (Jillian Breisch) of Sinking Spring; his niece Sharon (Karl Mueller) of Reading; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew, Benjamin, Andrew, Karleigh and Faye.
