He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry D. Schaeffer and Ida M. (Snyder); his granddaughter Tiffany; and his sister Diane Matetich. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. (Krick); his children, Scott M. Schaeffer (Laura) of Blackwood, NJ, Lori B. Thompson of Spring Township and Brian D. Schaeffer of Reading; his grandchildren, Jason, Perry, Ethan, Stephanie, Geoffrey, Zachary, Nicholas and Marissa; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Nora, Hannah, Kaley, Chelsea, Brody, Zyra and Lucian; and his siblings, Kenny Schaeffer and Sandy Mazurek.
