Hummel in Reading, Pennsylvania, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. William W. Hummel, Sr.; and her parents, George Forney Hostetter and Mary Hostetter (Eshleman). She is survived by: her sister Mary Lou Winder; her children, William Hummel, Jr. (Sue Ann) and Mary Zebert (Neil); her grandchildren, Brad Hummel (Emily), Scott Hummel and Haley Zebert; her stepgrandchildren, Kyle Zebert (Julissa) and Jeffrey Zebert (Sarah); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Zadiel Zebert, Tauriel Zebert and Noctis Zebert. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Pat was one of the four founding members of the Foundation for the Reading Public Museum and served on its board for many years, for one period as interim education director.
