With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Miriam A. Stephens of Reading, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Miriam farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Miriam is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Peter Carnobas (Thessalonica) and Minerva Isabella Hepler of Reading, PA.; and her brother Charles Harrison Carnobas (Roland Stephens). She is survived by: her cousin Timothy Hepler of Wyomissing; her close friends, Mayra Sepulveda and Maria Kohalmi; and her pet Simon.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bean Funeral Homes- Hampden Heights (1605 Rockland St, Reading, PA 19604). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bean Funeral Homes (1605 Rockland St, Reading, PA 19604). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Charles Evans Cemetery (1119 Centre Ave, Reading, PA 19601).
