He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin James and Frances James (Reifsnyder). He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Verbinski); his son Michael James, Jr. (Jennifer Stoudt-James) of Fleetwood; and his grandchildren, Adam Stoudt, Patrick Stoudt (Jenifer), Xander Stoudt, Joshua Stoudt, Alexander James and Thomas James.
