She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley J. Carter; and her sisters, Rita Camardese and Pauletta Heinly. She is survived by: her children, Dennis M. Carter of Hamburg, Debra M. Carter of Cumru Township and Joseph S. Carter (Patricia) of Sinking Spring. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
