She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph G. Downey; her parents, Robert L. Himmelberger and Ruth M. Himmelberger (Horst); and her siblings, Paul, Richard, Carl, Donald Himmelberger and Ruth M. Lewars (Himmelberger).
She is survived by: her stepson Dewey S. Downey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. (2100 Perkiomen Ave, Mt Penn, PA 19606). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM.
