She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander James Pillie and Mary (Resavage). She is survived by: her brother Daniel J. Pillie of Lansdale; her niece Dr. Danelle C. Fournier (Rob) of West Conshohocken; her nephew Derek A. Pillie (Janay) of Fort Wayne Indiana; her great-niece Emma Pillie; her great-nephew Nathan Pillie; and her close friend Lynda Eschleman. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation in memory of Maria E. Pillie.
