He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther D. Schlott and Lillian Schlott (McDonald); and his siblings, Sandra, Carl, Lillian (Buchert) and David.
He is survived by: his children, Tama J. Hertzog (Schlott), Luther D. Schlott III (Holly) and Douglas J. Schlott; his grandchildren, Robert Hertzog, Brian Hertzog (Sky Hertzog), Stacy Polyniak (Stephen Polyniak), Amanda Schlott, Megan Orlando (Sydney Orlando) and Douglas Schlott II; his great grandchildren, Noah, Morgan, Zelda, Orion, Ganon, Levi, Juniper, Vanessa, Nevaeh and Benjamin; and his siblings, Jerome Schlott (Dolores), James Schlott (Claudia) and Darlene Haring.
