It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luis A. Ocasio (Reading, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Luis leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Luis may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustavo Ocasio Abreu and Carmen Plaza; and his brother Joseph Ocasio. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry L. Haas of Wyomissing, Lisa A. Ocasio (David E. Witkowski) of Shillington, Brenda L. Grassley (Richard A. Grassley) of Wyomissing and Lou-Ann Ocasio (Moses Colon) of Exeter Township; and his siblings, Anibal Ocasio of Muhlenberg Township, Irma Ocasio of Puerto Rico, Adelaide Gonzalez of Florida, Dennis Ocasio of Florida, Thamara Velez of Cumru Township and Milton Santiago of Puerto Rico. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
