It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis E. Ritter III (Reading, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley Ann Ritter (Schell); and his parents, Lewis E. Ritter, Jr. and Elsie Ritter (Spangler). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy A. Ritter (Vuillemot); his children, Linda Ritter Sorenson (Lee Sorenson) of Coatesville, David F. Ritter (Faith Ritter) and Kenneth R. Ritter (Susan Ritter) of Sinking Spring; and his stepchildren, Nancy L. Collins of Richmond, Virginia, Lynn B. Greer of Robesonia and William R. Greer of Sitka. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory (3825 Penn Ave, Reading, PA 19608). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory (3825 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, PA 19608).
