It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph L Gombar in Reading, Pennsylvania, born in Saint Clair, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Gombar and Anna Gombar (Cherba); and his siblings, Elmer Gombar, Anna Karahuta, Stephen Gombar, Melhart Gombar and Eugene Gombar.

He is survived by: his brother-in-law John Karahuta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
