He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl A. and Rita M. (Leitham); his brothers, Frank, Carl and Freddy; and his grandson Logan Walter.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean M. Walter (Waninger); and his children, Kathy Metz (Charles Metz), Stephen Walter (Jodi), Mark Walter David (Terri), Mary Polyak (Bill Prutzman), Michael Walter (Charlene) and John Walter (Jaime).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church (2600 St Albans Dr, Reading, PA 19609). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at the Gethsemane Cemetery (3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605).
