We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Joan DeMarte of Reading, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph DeMarte; her parents, Goldie C. Riegel (Clevenger) and Elwood Riegel; and her brothers, James, Donald, Harold, Leon and Richard Riegel.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph R. (Diana) and Jeffrey S. (Holli Nigh); and her grandchildren, Nicole, Eric, Jessica, Marissa and Kyla DeMarte. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. (739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Gethsemane Cemetery (3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude.
