He is survived by: his wife Emma Jean Butler; his children, Wynton Butler (Tonya) of Reading, Sheshanna Joy Butler of Royersford, Yolanda Carter of Cincinnati and Gwendolyn Bah; and his grandchildren, Gary Hopkins III, Wynton Butler II, Wesley Butler, Christopher Holmes, Jr., Elizabeth Camara and Abdul Camara. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.
